Aaaand here's Blu's reference sheet. I finally learned how to draw wings. -v- Not well, of course, but at least they're more than a bunch of squiggly lines. I'm at that stage in my art where I'm realizing that using references is actually really helpful lol. Anyway! I'm glad he finally has an accurate ref sheet. The old one was... not good. XD

Here's his bio! (It's kinda long... Sorry about that lol.)

Blu Fernsby - He/him - 14

Blu is a friendly and optimistic kid. He's very outgoing and social but doesn't have anyone he would consider a friend at school. He has the ability to erase memories from other people (but not from himself), and most kids take advantage of his ability and his kindness by going to him whenever they have a bad experience they'd rather forget. Blu knows people take advantage of him - they're always acting nice to him when they want something from him and ignoring him when they don't - but he does it anyway. He has a strong desire to help others; he just wishes they would give him some kindness in return sometimes.

He goes home each day to an empty house. His dad works long into the night, rarely makes it home before Blu goes to bed and is always gone before Blu wakes up in the morning. Blu knows he works hard, but it gets lonely being the only one home all the time. Not to mention all the chores he has to take care of while his father works. He used to be around more often, a much less distant man, but he had never been the same since Blu's mom had passed away years ago.

Things aren't all bad, though. He finds ways to enjoy the alone time. He spends a lot of time outside, whether it's just to go on a walk through the neighborhood or to paint his surroundings. He's not very good at painting, wouldn't really consider himself an artist, but it helps him pass the time, or calm down when he's feeling upset. Other than that, his hobbies tend to change often. He enjoys trying new things and has a lot of time to experiment.

Things change once Mellody starts going to his school. They don't get along at first, as Mellody makes it her goal not to get along with ANYONE, but eventually they become friends. He learns that Mellody has had a very unpredictable life, moving from foster home to foster home after her parents died when she was very young, and she learns about his complicated feelings about his ability. It's new for both of them to have someone to share their struggles with, someone who will actually listen to and understand what they're going through. From there, they become close friends. Mellody helps Blu assert himself and improve his self-confidence, and Blu lends an ear whenever Mellody needs to vent, often finding himself keeping her from making stupid impulsive decisions. They end up having something similar to a sibling relationship, Mellody being the "older sister" despite being younger than him.
