Love how pristine some parts of those 'mechs look, while the rest is scarred and more dully colored. These machines have definitely seen alot of action and had their arms blown off at some past battle.

Β I just love how you are able to convey the essence of the ablative armour. It does look like something that is supposed to fall away when damaged.Β

I'm just surprised that battlemechs look anything like I thought they would

ACS does much better work then the artists who worked on the Sarna site images, but of course he also has the benefit of computers whereas they didn't. That said, I think his designs are cleaner, with less wires and stuff hanging out to get shot off. They truly feel like solid, well built war machines rather then something from a child's cartoon.

The Shrike seems a little bit too small, even though it's a tad farther behind. But other than that... damn, that's one great piece of digital art!

Great mechs though I feel the style of the mechs and the background are a bit disparate

Good to see your art again - was beginning to think you'd taken a dropship off-world.

Definitely very good, the only drawback are the background rocks looking too real, but otherwise the feel and color are all great.

This is so cool! I can't get over it! The amount of detail you can show on your mechs is just stunning. Absolutely stunning! Mega-giga like!

Looks like a mixture of 2D and 3D. Is this your new style for later artwork?

I typically use 3D base models for mechanical stuff these days, at least on the higher budget pieces.
