This is quite an old one, done about a year ago. I have a few like this that I simply never got around to posting. Better late than never
Commission for sabresteen
A heavy tank with numerous weapon systems and thick armor.
A rail gun is its primary weapon, with direct fire backed up by coaxial and remote turret mounted machine guns. It also utilizes two missile launch systems for indirect fire.
To protect itself from incoming fire it utilizes a high energy laser system with 3 emitter pods atop the turret. Typical IR smoke launchers offer visual cover, and an array of fragmentation air-burst launchers prevent any saboteur from getting close.

I like how this tank mixes in future SF tech (railguns... lasers... robotic guns and stuff xD) while still hearkening after the practical design of a modern tank. And yet manages to feel futuristic all the same. XD Nice work man.

This is really great! Is it based on something (other than a collection of modern day tanks) or an original design? In either case it's very well done.

IR Smoke Launchers? As an ex tanky i wnat to inform you that there is metallic foils stuff in the smoke grenades to protect the from more then just visuall detection, if you meant that. :-P
