Finally done, a big commission for *fox-unitThis one was good fun, being set in my own story, with much of the composition up to me. So well, it felt like my usual work, just with the drive of money and satisfying someone else
A trio of ex-Ranger mercenaries, having a rest in an abandoned outpost.

Good critique. These days I could pull off the girls figure a lot better, even though comparatively I'm more rusty with people compared to my other skills these days. Back then I was doing face studies a lot but not much full body study, so that's why it's a bit of a miss match

uh hi. I do not really talk about art much, mostly because i just like to look at it, that and also i am not really a great art person myself, but sometimes when i c art like this it makes me want to say something about, that and when other people start talking about it as well. anyways hey -shadow mirage legion- i hope you do not mind but i have to disagree with u on somethings that you said, well only one thing really, the other thing is just to clear something up for me. And i liked ur comment about the artwork by the way. now about the armor that u said makes them seem like mercs. i have a question to ask you. did u mean that statement because of how there armor looks different from what a military outfit might look look like or because they seem to stand out as being on their own?, because to tell u the truth these people look like soldiers to me more than mercs. and about what you said of the girl being more girlish well i think that the girl or woman, whatever the artist was trying to go for, looks fine the way she is. the reason for saying so is because, and i hope the artist will not mind me saying this, a woman can look anything form beautiful to tom boyish if you get what i am saying and also that said woman can look worn out or stressed or any expression that the artist was trying to go for to make her look like that. so as for me i think that she looks just fine the way she is, but everyone does have their own opinion right. anyways i am just saying this from my perspective so as i said before i hope you do not mind.

I feel a bit stupid for asking this, but where are all these characters, armors and power-suits from? They look like a combo of Halo and Mass Effect, but I simply cannot place them...

That's just me being bad at proportions at the time. They're all regular human proportions, though some people are bigger than others.

i love this, btw, the soldier in the back...Ever played Monster hunter? The armour looks alot like a monster of that game. If you havent, look up Gravios Monster Hunter. Looks awesome though, im a Monster hunter nut, so it caught my eye xD Just makes this piece so much more awesome :3

that dinosaur helmet power armored dude(?) on the left looks like he like to headbut peole in battle, not sure why, that's just what he looks like to me, that said, it's a pretty interesting pice, i like how each character looks like it has it's how approach to the battlefield, also, that's one sexy looking muscle suit

Yep, compact power armor in the front, a medium armor in the back, and the girl could be using anything from infantry gear to more power armor

Well, these guys in particular aren't overly special, but the units they used to be have a complex offensive/defense shielding system.

OH MY GOD DEMON SPARTANS. That is effin' BA. It's like, if the Master Chief was all, "hurr durr dun likez teh covenantz lololol" and sold his soul to SATAN. Now he's kicking ass in YOUR story as one of those badass Ranger dudes! That's awesome. I love the design. Armored muscle suits have always been badass, as Marvel (and other less awesome comic companies) have shown us over the years. Plus, your girl is also pretty smokin'. She doesn't have enormous gozongas, but that's because she has to be lithe, stealthy, and silent. Which is also quite awesome. Haha, all in all, well done.
