DescriptionFinally finished is my long overdue gift for Vertaki of her character named Morpheus. I worked long and hard on the details in this one and colored him using gradient maps! I decided not to kill myself on his scale texture; I tried a few times and what I was doing was just looking really awful. I hope that's okay, Vertaki.Anyway, I'm tired. Thank you everyone for visiting my livestream!!

As for why you like blue and orange so much I believe that's probably because they are the two most awesome colors that are so awesome it's not truly necessary for other colors to exist. But the other colors exist just to remind us how awesome blue/orange are.

Awe gosh! ;u; Well, most of the characters in my gallery aren't mine and I draw them as gifts, commissions, or trades. But I am really intrigued by anatomy, so I took Honors Anatomy & Physiology in high school and then Anatomy & Physiology I and II at a nursing college. I try to apply some of my knowledge to my drawings and designs of fantastical creatures. It makes it pretty fun C:

I love the effect of the red through the scales, I think that's amazing. Reminds me of Drakengard actually, Angelus the dragon in her final form had a tail made of lava, resembled this alot. I love it!

Oh wow, this is super amazing! I love all that glowy stuff going on there and the scales! They look so dang real and very confincing! The shading is fantastic, it gives the whole thing a real feel, I don't really know how to say it... three-dimensional was the word I was looking for! The contrast and shading around his face is probably my favortie part about it, next to the shading/light on the horns, that looks super cool! Not to mention the insane amount of detail with the mane and scales! Everytime I look at this picture I find a new detail that really adds to it!
Let's just say I really love this picture a lot! Great job!
