I've grown a little on the 'self confidence' scale since I've been gone, but I have days of weakness. Usually once a month.

You know what's terrible? I can attract the "beautiful", brainless girls once I've spoken with them a bit - but I can never get that girl in the corner to talk to me and she's really the one I'm interested in. (Not that I'm terribly handsome, mind, I simply seem to attract "glamorous" airheads)

Pfft, and to think these 'belles and beaus of the ball' are actually really uninteresting people once you get to know them. Looks aren't everything, but they don't know that. I'd rather talk and dance with somebody with a personality, rather than a head full of pop culture trivia and social tidbits but little else. So give me that girl in the corner, I bet she has something to say.
