After this , I've kind of wanted to do another wedding dance kind of picture, and this one came to mind randomly the other day.The idea being that before the wedding the bride and groom train to do this dance, practice it until they can do it with their eyes closed. Then on the wedding day they seal their vows by putting on the wedding masks and dancing.
Yeah idk.

I love the writing, it's beautiful. It's truly beautiful. But the characters sort of fell flat, maybe cause of their posture. But i love it. The whole piece just radiates with love.

I'm late to the party, here, but this is a fantastic concept, and the designs of the masks are each absolutely gorgeous.* What a tremendous performance that would be in any setting, a spectacle even on stage. It does feel like a potentially significant bit of culture, far more elegant and striking in its symbolism than a number of recently created wedding traditions in actual use. On the composition, though, the whole color scheme is perfect - the cream and gold and bronze, the way the black feels warm, it's all utterly excellent - and lovely placement of the text.
*And, I can't help but notice, would be well-suited to leather. Lemme know if for some reason you should wish them to exist in tangible form.

I think this is a very touching concept, with a lot of depth.
Kind of makes me think of a certain part in Elfquest - two hands of water, together one - Cutter and Leetah ^___^ (not that they resemble these characters, those are yours, it's the thought behind it that I want to point out)

I WANT THOSE MASKS, MY DEAR. I happen to, er, have a mask obsession, especially for Venetian Carnivale ones. These ones remind me a bit of the way Brian Froud draws masks, ever seen them?
