Description
The Chinese Dragon, a symbol of power, luck, prosperity, destruction, and basically anything else that one could think of: now an Alien host.I am very proud of this one, I don't even know how I managed to create this.

...WHAT TH-we would've never thought of this sort of combination (largely because we wouldn't know how to get a facehugger on a Chinese dragon), but it works surprisingly well. Oddly, we'd have made it slightly LESS serpentine (it always seems to be more alien than base creature when it comes to these hybrids), but we can't really complain, especially when you have those awesome chin barbels. The overall design is well-made and very detailed-if they ever made an Alien fantasy crossover movie, this would be a likely result.

Lesson 1: The list of creatures that cannot be combined with an Alien is a very short list indeed.
Facehuggers are not always necessary, but besides that, I don't really care if it could happen, I say it did. HAHAHA! I mean, I even made some for the Shinigami of Death Note. They are incorporeal. And Godzilla. Realism is not really something I take into account. However, I do have certain rules about what can and can't be Alienated.
The less serpentine version I did just didn't have the same presence. I mean, it was cool, and it combined the features well enough, but something about it just wasn't good enough. So I made this one from scratch, unlike many which I reuse my previous designs.

I plan to. There are many more Aliens in my future. And some more in my present that aren't yet finished. I've been reworking a Resident Evil licker-Alien for some time, but it never comes out right. Then there are other dinosaurs, some whose hosts aren't even made up (I just designed them with the weirdest features I could (two tails, strange body shapes, etc)), and the Acklay from Star Wars.

A Licker-Alien hybrid? Wouldn't that just be a Licker with armor, a tail, and a Freudian head? (Just kidding, but still; those mutants look a lot like Aliens already if you ask us.)
And when are you branching out into hosts that should by no means be Alienized (Xenomorphed?), like a Tribble or Chuck Norris?

Anyway, yes, it would look pretty much like that. But I don't care. I like hybrids, even when they're not that hybridy. Like the Acklay is just an Acklay with the head of Freud. And the special Xenomarkings.
I have already done an Ewok. I really don't like Star Wars, and I thought that would a nice Take that. But if it doesn't fit my perceived guidelines, I probably won't do it. I mean, Chuck Norris is a human, and we have plenty of human aliens already. And I think a tribble Alien would be kinda sad, since they have no arms, legs, or anything but a mouth. No, I don't think I'll be doing a Tribble Alien. But maybe something else out of Star Trek. Like a Targh.

What about the Borg? Heaven help the universe if THAT fusion somehow works...or if the Collective manages to Borgify an Alien. Whichever looks cooler.

Of course, that's assuming Xenomorph and 8472 can even hybridize. Beings from beyond conventional space sounds like a challenge.

True, but if even the Borg can't figure out how to assimilate them, the aliens might have a few problems infecting them. That, and we don't want to think about the paradox of aliens piloting alien bioships that can link up to other alien bioships to form a focusing beacon for an even bigger alien bioship's super death ray.

I think that's a bit farther than it would go. To me, no matter the host, Aliens are still members of the Hive; Aliens first. Everything else dead. ^_^
Besides, we can always go with the "a scientist made it in a lab" approach. Apparently in the comics that's where most of the variants come from. I'd like to see a good shark Alien... I can't get it right.

Well, we're not saying they'd JOIN Species 8472. We just remembered that their bioships are also organic, so isn't it possible that the Xenomorphs could infect the bioships too?
Also, we're not sure if the world can handle the awesomeness of a f***ing shark Alien. Especially if it has a laser beam on its head.

Ah, well they don't really infect other species so much as infest. The facehugger plants a little baby in your gut... though no one is quite sure where... So since I don't think the ships have digestive tracts it doesn't seem likely. Though 8472 doesn't seem to have a mouth either. It might work, it might not, but it CAN be drawn.
