As you can tell, Ive been in an uploading mood as of late.Anywhos..
I felt like being different and getting a bit of variety in, so started this creature. I had been rolling around some Ecco the Dolphin fan stuffs, and being a fan of that as I am and never seeing much fan stuffs out there, I decided to go for my interpretation of the main vortex species.
As you can kind of see, I started the toneing on it but never got any further with it. Thats me for you.
Ive had a love for these dudes since I played my first ecco game, back when the tides of time came out for genesis.
As some of you may know, the groovy votex sprites in that game are first seen in one of the very first levels. I loved them at first sight.
Unfortunately the ecco games are harder to come by for me. Metroid atleast comes in a wider variety of platforms.
Again, Ive little experience with the 3d games out there. Im a genesis/snes player! I miss the 90s games...
I hope to inspire some more of my favourite groovy creatures outta you peoples.

Oh, wow, I love this interpriation. I never thought Votex could look cooler...! I hate to say it (Since I love the original so much) but I like this interpritation better! Wonderfully done, and an excellent sense of form!

kickass man finally another ecco the dolphin fan, i never really drew anytthing from it cuz well i simply forgot about it um, but ill start now because you reminded me. I never played the one for dream cast though. Did you? Was it good?
