Vampire Squids have been my favorite animal ever since an Abyssal Benthic biome project I chose to do for science. So when people ask, "What's your favorite animal?" and I say "Vampire Squid" they look at me funny. I can't help but laugh.

OMG, they're in that Planet Earth movie, which I borrowed from a friend but have not had time to watch.

Well, almost more through lack of friends. My husband always likes my stuff and gives me good feedback, so I show him. My parents think everything I do is genius... of course I can't show them any of the naked lady or religious shit... the friends I do have say "oh, ok" so there doesn't seem to be much of a point. So mostly it just sits in a pile.
I have this one friend who's taking art in college (for that and other reasons I respect his opinion) and never really acted that interested in my stuff (unless it was something that was supposed to be funny)... but I showed him this one drawing the other day and he said I probably could be selling this stuff. That kind of upset my whole worldview, because I was always just doing this for fun.
