I'm actually a little hesitant to upload this. ^.^;; Dunno why.ANYWAY.
A CG from my otome game in progress, Essence .
Originally a human girl, Alice, the protagonist, wakes to find herself in a robotic body. Haunted by vague memories of murder, she embarks both to find her old body and the world she lost upon entering a six-month slumber.
Here she realizes her form is no longer human.

THIS IS AMAZING!
It's generally a really powerful image, you can see a mix of horror and genuine disbelief and confusion on her face. The broken mirror is a great symbol of how broken she must feel and the new situation that Alice has been plunged into. It's a really clever positioning too, to get the best profile of what she looks like. And as usual I love your choice of colours.
How are you going with the novel by the way?

It's going. XD I'm trying to focus more on art (character sprites, cgs) than writing atm since I know the art will require more work than the writing. Still, I believe I need to do a lot of rewriting before releasing the demo. I just want it to be the best it can possibly be ^.^

Just an idea, it could be interesting if she returned to the same or another mirror at the end of the story, and have it fixed or still broken depending on how the story turned out. That might be a little depressing though ^^'
Well, whatever sequence works for you will produce the best results. I'm always open to reviewing the story or dialogue or anything if you need some help

Hehe I actually really like that idea ;D Silbo, you honestly think like a writer of fine literature. Your ideas intertwine and carry weight later on in the story and are still complex and symbolic. I seriously wish I had possessed your knowledge when I was a few years younger like you. 
Eeesh, I feel like I've got some expectations to live up to. XD;; I just hope I can write it well enough that I won't scare people off!

I do love writing and coming up with ideas. Sometimes, I don't feel as if I'm very good at it, there are so many people I know who have written more or do a better job when they do write... but I like doing it and I'm willing to keep it up, so why not?
Well, I couldn't take on a project like that for a very long time and I was surprised at how intricate it is. You're doing a great job so far; I love seeing all the sprites and artwork you upload and there's improvement every time

Is it just me or is the reflection in the mirror different from the real one's?I can't really tell but it looks like the real one's sad while the reflection is happy.Again,if its not what I've been perceiving,I'm sorry.
