Description
This is a fanart I started in 2009 and I finally got myself together and finished it!I hope you all still like it
(Oh, the white dots in the shadows are because I used a glitter-pen - yeah, a mistake, I know ^^'' - try to ignore it!! XD)

Great job with this! It has left me speechless! I have never seen such a wonderful concept before! It really suits him! To tell the truth it kinda reminds me of Kasim in Alladdin and 40 Thieves, which is not a bad comment!
On the contrary it suits him perfectly! The blue around him gives him an aura of mystery and royalty but at the same time the style makes you think he is some outcast at the same time! I loved it!
Also I loved the idea of his cape turning into something that to be honest reminds me of water. Water is the most precious thing in desert, so water around him suits the title perfectly!
The stalactites and stalagmites behind him drives the mind to...caves where people hide (also it connects it with water) which connects Seto with outcasts but the pink of dawn behind him, makes him royalty again!
His icy-cold eyes that come out of the head-dresser he wears gives him an aura of mystery and probably the impression of...danger!
I loved all the details and you did great job! Continue like that!

It was something more than a pleasure dear. And to tell the truth I am working on duing critiques on literature at school. Art is no different!

Well, I intended to let the Cape look like water (I like drawing water - as you can see in "dancing water") but I didn't intended to reach the opposition of desert and water - I just liked it the way it was.
I also didn't thought about the background to be honest. I just drew it like that because I liked it XD

Ah I see. I am glad you liked my interpretation for the symbol. To tell the truth the colors of the background reminded me of royal colors. Also the title "Prince of Desert" and water made me think of the valuability of water in the desert so...whoever has water in desert is more valuable than having gold. So it came to my mind.

Wow, this is so incredibly beautiful! The colors are so vibrant, and the details in the clothes are just awesome. Geez and the watery swirly cape looks so cool too! But is this supposed to be Seto? If so his hair looks like its white instead of brown... Still, a really really awesome piece!
