Damn, you've got pretty cool costumes. I'm curious: What materials are they made of, and how long did it take? They seem like they've seen a lot of work.

The spartan is made of fiberglass and resin with a cardstock base. The cardstock base was constructed from the program Pepakura.
The OSDTs were constructed in the same method with the end result being used for making molds out of smoothcast. The spartan, mine, took about 3 months to make and I'm still in the process of updating and strengthening it. The ODSTs were made in about the same time, I think. They aren't part of our cosplay group, so I don't know all of the details.
