Background:
Chance is a clockwork doll created by a man named Heidenrőslein, whom she calls “master”. He was a genius at clockwork, and dedicated his entire life to creating perfect imitations of life with his craft. However, his search for a life source that could last the lifespan of a human proved futile, until he came upon a mysterious merchant who sold him three pieces of an ancient stone, which was said to have extraordinary powers. He used the Red stone and the Yellow stone to create two superhuman dolls, but they soon rebelled against him and proved to be deadly killers. Disillusioned, he retreated to a mansion on a secluded island, where he lived for the rest of his life. It is here where he used the remaining piece of the stone to create his last masterpiece, Chance. He raised Chance to be honest and simple, and sheltered her from the evils of the world. When he became terminally ill, he told her of her origin and that after his death, she is to go and find a man named Halloween Crosswise, who will find means to protect her.

Reasons for Entering HA:
1. Many know about the stones of power and may harm her to obtain it. Heidenrőslein hopes that she will find protection in HA.
2. To learn the conventions of society and meet others.
3. To learn how to control her electricity powers.

Personality:
Because she has no knowledge of the conventions of society, she is completely blunt and honest with her thoughts, which causes her trouble at times. She is easily satisfied and happy to be around others, especially those she find respectable or beautiful. She is faithful and loyal, and loved her master dearly. However, she is constantly frustrated by her social awkwardness and wants to be like others.

Talents:
Like Heidenrőslein’s other dolls, Chance can use telekinesis. However, her special power is the ability to use electricity, which she has little control over (but delights in using anyway). She is surprisingly good with mechanical things, since she has seen her master at work countless times.

Clothing Preferences:
She only wears Victorian styled dresses, usually with frills or lace. Her headdress always consists of two bows and roses, but may change color according to her outfit. She NEVER wears pants (in fact, she doesn’t know how they work). Anything dolly kei/ Lolita will do.

Likes:
Dresses, cooking (although most of it is inedible, since she can’t eat), electrocuting things, friends, master, lace, mechanics.

Dislikes:
Pants, water (will rust!), night (she is alone, since she can’t sleep).
