For the Free FGE Project for where we get to choose which fighter we want to draw for the month of February.

The next chapter in the Guilty Gear series is being released this year. I believe it just go out in Arcades; and we still await for it for PS3 and PS4.

So needless to say; I picked a character from Guilty Gear; in his Xrd:Sign outfit.

While his outfit didn't change too dramatically; the shadow beast named Eddie did. This of course is Zato-1; the dead Spaniard possessed by the fifth magic beast known as Eddie.

Apparently; he's been revived! So now Zato-1 lives again. And with a newer version of Eddie no doubt.

Among the things I liked best here was making Eddie large and vicious looking enough to be part of the background.

For those who don't know; his name's Eddie because he was named after Eddie the Head; the zombie mascot of Iron Maiden. (There's tons of rock references in Guilty Gear.) And indeed while drawing this I was listening to a lot of Iron Maiden; namely the Powerslave and Seventh Son albums.

Always striving for better things. I had like nine different poses for Zato and this is the one I chose.
