Hooray for Redheads!!!!Recently my friend Candice really got me into Bleach. One of it's coolest characters is a shingami named Renji. The red haired visor wearing tatoo whip-sword weilder is a real fan favorite in the Bleach world.
And seeing his hair reminded me a bit of one of my favorite females in the cartoon world..Frankie (Francis) Foster of Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. What would happen if these two met.
Naturally I think Frankie would find Renji quite attractive. And since he's a redhead with a spikey ponytail, Frankie would definitely admire his fashion statement. Two spikey red heads think alike .^^ So I think Frankie'd kinda want him.
Renji however...I don't think he's really that interested in mortal women. So he looks kinda uncomfortable here..either that or he's giving the oblivious Frankie the 'I'm not really interested' look. Frankie just looks excited to hold onto our red haired shinigami. (That's a death god BTW)
I kinda like this crossover pic. Renji's the first Bleach char I drew. He's awesome and I LOVE his sword. Frankie doesn't know what it looks like..poor dope. If she gets on Renji's bad side..NYAH> X-p
I think this is cute. Frankie is looking really cute. And I love how I got Renji's facial expression. He kinda looks stiff. =-p

Well, they're both very simple, but I find Japanese anime to be more to my liking.

Personally I LOVE One Piece...my only complaint is how freaking long and tedious it can get..and STILL can get. They're not even halfway through the Grand Line right now. -_-

I can't say I'm famliar with Bleach, but I like the idea of bringing the two charries together what with your reasoning behind them both. ^^ And the expressions are great, especially Frankie's; it shows that your feminine anatomy is definitely working hard in terms of expressive implementation.
I think now's also the time to look into hair shading, to help make it bolden out a bit. That could work well especially when dealing with anime-based characters. There could be one or two shines in the hair to lighten it up, which can help a lot when portraying the characters in strong sunlight.
But heck, this is definitely coming along well ^_^ it's good to see some of your stuff once again, Chris.
