BACKGROUND (OUT-OF-UNIVERSE)
Okay, I have two timelines--one leading to a non-canon ending which I personally prefer, and the other timeline leading to canon (MMX ---> MMZ ---> MMZX ---> MMZXA ---> Legends).
These two timelines have one key difference, which results in, among other things, the Lumines between timelines to be different.
In the timeline, the happy ending was achieved through a reploid-ified human becoming an interracial mediator after Lumine (who is Axl's brother in this timeline) became a martyr in X8. Lumine was pardoned, and then rebuilt.
I have properly differentiated both of my Lumines in terms of looks. But between me and Hannaji , her Lumine and this ^ Lumine aren't physically properly differentiated at first glance. So I made this form to differentiate between her Lumine and mine.

Also, I consider the Nezha form to be my most unique design. i love it.

Lumine's Seraph form was destroyed after X8, and he didn't come with it after he was rebuilt. Rho, White , Lambda/Axl and Solid/Mu decided that since Lumine/Nu's not gonna be a combatant like Lambda anytime soon, he needs another "form" he needs to rely on. Rho and White asked if he wanted the Seraph form back, but Nu refused because it reminded him of X8 and he doesn't want to see the proof of his guilt.
Hearing that, Lambda decided to ask Rho and White to destroy his Scarlet Beast form, and change it into something else to eliminate the proof of Nu's guilt from his side as well. Thus Axl's Believer Form and Lumine's Nezha Form were created.

ABOUT THE DESIGN
Lumine/Nu's full serial number is WLC (Wily Light Collaboration) ν-z-4 (Nu-Z-4), alternatively spelled N-z-4. His brother Axl/Lambda's name is from his serial number (λ-x-1/Lambda-x-1) misread, so I tried giving Nu's serial number the same treatment of reading it as if it's an actual name...and it reads like Nezha, a Chinese deity. I read on and found that Lumine/Nu and Nezha shared many things in common:
> Nezha was the "third and youngest child" like Lumine/Nu.
> Both of them died, but get honoured afterwards
> Conflicting with a family member (Nezha and Li Jing; Nu/Lumine and Lambda/Axl) after their deaths and revivals

And that's why Lumine gets the "Nezha Form".
I applied a lot of low-key symbolism into the design:
> Yin and Yang (Chest armour, shoulder "pads")
> Lotus petals (His small coattails. Nezha was resurrected by his teacher, who made him a new body using lotus roots)
> Nezha's Wind-Fire Wheels was referenced by the big round thingies on Lumine's ankles
> The "longevity peach" referenced slightly on his boots
> Lumine's little stripes return, to reference his role as the "White Tiger "
> Lots of pearly jewels, referencing his role as the "pearl" (See: White Tiger of the West and Heaven Above, Suzhou and Hangzhou Below )

THIS FORM'S ABILITIES
The Nezha form is another form for Lumine to rely on after the loss of his Seraph form. It gives him better speed and more energy in general--it's like being on adrenaline. But when he stops using the form, depending on how much power he uses, he'll get really, really tired afterwards.
Lumine still uses his Caster-Bo in this form, because the Caster-Bo has become his official weapon for me, also to reference Nezha's Fire-Tipped Spears.
In general, the Nezha form for Lumine is much like the Believer form for Axl, because both forms allow them to use the full extent of their DNA libraries.
> If somehow his DNA library is empty, the crystals makes it easier for Lumine to copy as the crystals allow him to scan and copy from relatively far distances.
> Even if he's fighting with an empty library, he can fire powerful energy shots.
> Unlike Axl's Believer form, however, Lumine's Nezha form doesn't allow him to materialize the actual copied reploid, nor can it enable him to summon many weapons out of nowhere. However, it synchronizes very well with the Caster-Bo, allowing Lumine to transform it into whatever he wants--boxing gloves, swords, axes, any weapon--and the transformed Caster-Bo will still retain its "casting" capabilities. For example, if he transforms the Caster-Bo into a pair of gloves (with "casters" on its fingertips), he can literally kill people with the point of a finger.

DYNAMICS WITH THE OTHER FORMS (or lack thereof)
The Nezha form is radically different from the Believer and Nonbeliever forms, mainly the aesthetics. This is because the crux of Lumine's character development is him deciding to carve his own path.
Before X8, he's always doing what everyone told him to do, and never did anything much on his own. One concern for Lumine is that he never got to develop combat skills on his own due to being "born" with a complete copying system, while Axl and Solid developed their own skills. He wanted to be an adult and "make" himself. And the "detachment" of the Nezha form from the Believer and Nonbeliever shows that he wants to carve his own path and stop living under Axl and Solid's shadows.
...well, that's it. The point of this section is to point out why the Nezha form is so detached from the other two existing forms.
