Probably my favorite Zelda item ever. It's so adorable that I really wanted a plushie of it. This is the first version of the beetle you get in the game. The main body is made out of microfiber fabric (minky?) and the markings are made of felt. Since there wasn't much variety in the fabric I was able to access, the green material used for the main body is not accurate to what is in the game.Related content

Very creative! i never really thought of seeing a Beetle plushie. But well.. anything is possible in the Zelda fandom xD

Well a beetle can adapt well to plush form. Not sure if things like whips can be made into cuddly plushies.

The wings could flap so if you make an up/down motion as you hold it it will look like it's flying. That's what I do sometimes when I am bringing to over to other people to show off.

Thanks. It's too bad Nintendo would probably not make official Skyward Sword related plushies. I mean the beetle, the ancient robots, the loftwings could all make great plushies.

YES. I'd so buy all of those. Nintendo really needs to take advice from the fans and make more official plushies like that. They'd sell SO well. And for many other things too, especially tons of mario characters.

I am able to easily travel to the Nintendo World Store so I am aware that Mario has many licensed plush toys which has most of the main cast and many of the classic enemies. They also sell many of these plushies on Amazon so if you don't live near Nintendo World you can still get them.
The Zelda series has only Toon Link plushies sold there. Not even a Zelda plushie while there is an official Peach plushie. I do understand that an Octorok would not sell as well as a Goomba except to maybe the hardcore Zelda fans.

But yeah, I really wish they made more official Zelda plushies. I don't think nintendo understands how well they would sell, because I can name about twenty people off the top of my head that would definitely purchase a Midna, Navi, Zelda, anything plushie!

Since this is the first version of the beetle, it does not have the pincers to carry bombs. I am saving the pattern for a possible tutorial though so I could modify the pattern for its upgrades.
It is a great idea. I'll make a plush bomb to go with it.
