Description
I wanted this one - and its counterparts - to be the first of the images to be re-uploaded to dA.Done in pencil using multiple layers of the same image to create the background. Topped up with a softened glow and greener tinge to finalize.
EDIT ~ changed name to reflect English change.

interesting colorwork. i like the somewhat consistent shading and depth detail.

The arms are stretched up above its head - think that would be obvious actually looking at the image
I like the colour on this one too - I wasn't so concerned with the shading on it and the Tepig/Oshawott counterparts, it was mainly about that symbolic colour of the green and the relation of it as one of the main "base colours" of PokΓ©mon if you will.

its still one of your better works (though its arms are VERY hard to see in its coloring, and they end up looking like snivy's collar)

The colouring and lighting took a really long time as well - something I've really come to appreciate lately as I've done the Kanto Starters in a similar style (waiting to upload them) - unfortunately, it seems that I haven't been able to replicate the style too perfectly and they appear more of an off-shoot style and are darker in tone, with the attack being more extravagant.
Anyways, enough of my ramblings - thank you for your kind words
