And again, today is another important day - today, my great, close and true friend celebrates her 18th birthday.

Dear Laura, today is your special day, and I know that you have been looking forward to it very much for so long, and well, now your dream, to turn 18, has finally come true.
I wish you all the best, especially good health, a lot of happiness, joy and pleasure, strength, blessing from God, love and true friendship, lots of successes and personal goals, may your dreams and wishes come true, may your problems and everything that bothers you disappear and may you stay strong and handle everything that you need. Do not forget that you are strong and determined, and that you can achieve anything. I wish for your life to be the best as possible, and as I said, I believe that you can do anything, as well as overcome all that is, was, or has been bothering you. I am very happy and lucky to have you as a close friend. You are a very kind, compassionate, genuine, intelligent, wise and trustworthy person with a big heart and I always appreciate everything you do for me - all of our long comments and notes, through which we give attention an time to each other, as well as your trust, sympathy, reassurance and advice always mean a lot to me. We also share some things in common and understand each other pretty well, which I again appreciate very much. Thank you so very much for everything and please, never forget that I love you a lot.

And now, well, to the picture itself..
A couple of ideas flew over my mind when I was thinking about what I would draw as a gift for you, and at the end I decided to draw you a picture that would show a concept of a birthday party, including your ponysona along with your MLP G1 original character Vivid Voice and your cat Mity, wishing you all just the best and giving you presents on your party. I have never drawn Vivid Voice or your cat before and I thought it probably might be a nice surprise to you... As for the cake, I decided to decorate it with flowers since I know you just love floral elements, as well as the number "18" at the top since you are so excited about being an adult already.
Frankly, I am not skilled at all in drawing My Little Pony G1, and it was pretty hard for me to make it look well in that style. And although I tried and worked very hard, I am still really not satisfied with the result in general. I am very sorry for everything that I messed up. The parts that I am not satisfied with are especially Vivid Voice's face (while it was not so hard to draw your ponysona's face, but no matter how hard I tried, Vivid Voice's face always seemed just not good enough), the shading on both ponies' manes (it is true that I only use this way of shading in my drawings since I know nothing else, but I do not know, it just looks somehow so strange, in my opinion...) and that the background feels so plain and empty because I was not able to think of making anything better, not to mention I was afraid I would ruin the whole picture even further.... Oh gosh, this really is not a properly made present, I am pretty ashamed of how it came out.

However, I still just hope you will like it at least a bit, in spite of all imperfections.
I wish for your birthday to be the best as possible as well as for your day to be the most beautiful day ever.
