Iβm not sure. I think the whole reason he turned bad was because they let him drown and nobody rescued him. So he replaces his children with theirs.

I donβt think so. The notes hint that he turned their children into puppets as revenge for what they did to him.

Yeah, that's what I meant. But say, if someone ACTUALLY took the time to find and repair them, then present them to him. How would he react?
