So Yannis is starting to think it’s about time that him and Elizabeth get married. However a tradition that many merfolk hold is that the fathers of both families need to agree that the couple is meant for each other and give their blessing. So Elizabeth’s mother helps Yannis arrange a small lunch meeting for the two of them to talk. The lunch is starting out pretty awakward as Dannis still has his fear of snakes and Yannis isn’t sure how he’ll react to asking for his blessing to marry Elizabeth.
