Whee, it's the Iris people!

Being grounded, I've had a lot of free time on my hands. So, I played video games, watched Bleach, and worked on this here perty picture. It's done all digitally, everything from the sketch to the final color done in Photoshop.

It was originally just going to be the characters floating in space, just a study for me to finalize their costumes and colors. But then they looked weird just floating in space, so I started a background. At first, it was gonna be darker, more blue- and grey-toned and lots of desaturated colors... But somehow it ended up all sunny and red and yellow. And the ground was supposed to be dry, cracked dirt with some grass poking up... But somehow... I still have no idea how... It turned into sand. Mysteriously. It was really weird.

As far as the picture goes... Amara's boobs are crooked, but they always end up that way. I just have issues drawing girls with lots of boobage. Kail's nose is kinda on the big side, and his one hand is REALLY wonky. Rem didn't want to look at the camera no matter how much I told her to, and her foot is all kinds of messed up. Nadia, I really really like. Aron looks dead sexy, but you can't see his face very good this far away. I knew it was a good idea to give him darker hair. And Reiya is okay, but I don't like the shading on her skirt.

And I must explain something to you. I feel the need to do this. See, Amara's eyes are huge for my style. I almost never draw eyes that big. But when I designed her, like, a year ago, my style was way different. Back then, I drew eyes big, just like every other beginning anime artist. But now my style changed since then, and I always draw smaller eyes. But when I tried to draw Amara with smaller eyes, she looked so WEIRD. She did NOT look like Amara AT ALL. So I had no choice but to make her eyes huge. So, I don't know why that was so important, but I just wanted to tell y'all and explain that strange anomoly in this picture.
