My pet hamster. Her name's Peaches; very fat little rodent.We let her have some grass on the days we clean her cage, so she was stuffing her cheeks before and after the pic.

chinese hamsters have the tendency to bite things, my hamster used to want to bite my fingers when he was on his jail (and all kinds of clothes that were near him) xDU
also sometimes they're more nervious
the syrian hamster can be more peaceful, but there are exceptions xD
my first hamster was a syrian, too and he was very calm, but lylat was a really hyperactive hamster xD
i think your little Peaches is the syrian type, too o.o

My Peaches is actually called a Teddybear hamster. Supposedly, they're the most friendly, with the least tendancy to bite. In actuality, she's really, really hyper when she's awake, but if she's sleepy you shouldn't mess with her. She test-bites things when she's tired 'cause her little brain doesn't recognize things.

Oh that's cool ^^ I haven't really seen too many other teddybear hamsters, but every single one I've looked at is orange and white (same pattern too). It's kinda creepy; they all look like clones. xD
It's hilarious. But it's even more funny when she's awake. She gets very violent with her food.

She doesn't attack people for the food, she just attacks the food. You give her a piece of lettuce and she does an exaggerated grab and starts stuffing it in her cheek like it's her lifeline.
