This one's self-explanatory as well, I think.
It's my second entry to Round 1 of the contest (more information here ).
I've been thinking about doing this for a while, and I finally sat down and designed it.
It is a girl Peter Pan - Petra.
Her hair reminds me of the Disney version, but she was screaming to be a redhead, and other than that I tried to stay away from Disney.
The costume itself is modified from Jeremy Sumpter's costume from the 2003 movie (so I guess we call her Jemima Summers?
). Oh, and this is the first time I've ever used a base like this. It was a pain in the neck, but I hope it turned out well. 
I had a lot of fun thinking this one up. I starter just drawing lines and then it solidified into this - hopefully a sketchier version and a back view will be up soon, too. I'm happy with this design (and want one). It looks to me like she outgrew her first outfit and kept expanding it (good thing she's not going to grow anymore). My excuse for the skirt is it's what people in London wear - she started making a full skirt and got bored but liked the half-way skirt.
I need to do more with this character now, though. I like her too much...
EDIT: The material is supposed to be leaves, like the original. Sorry for being unclear on that front.

It depends. I have a friend who would look really great in this costume, so it's very possible that I might actually make it, or do a more detailed design.

It's true - it is very similar, but the idea for me wasn't to re-design it into something wearable today. It was more to simply explore what the costume would have looked like if it had been worn by a girl. In the process, I created Petra.

I love the lines... great translation of the costume. The skirt is super cute. And I really can't think of a solid critique a this moment.
Love the concept and the clean lines of the base really help show off your design.

This is very cute! I like the idea of a Petra Pan!
The little half skirt looks great and I love the idea behind it. You really managed to translate the costume well onto a girl!
Just one thing I'm wondering about.. is it a pattern on the fabric or is it symbolizing leaves?
Oh and on a side note.. I loved that movie!

Having been one of these girls myself when I was younger, I think I would have jumped at the idea of running around in this outfit (and flying in it!)
And sorry (I feel like a bit of an idiot) - they're representing leaves. They actually are - I cut and pasted from a picture of Jeremy's costume, but they sort of got mangled on the way in and I couldn't get them to look any more like leaves. I'll put in a note about that.

Thanks for clearing that up! I did think they were leaves but wasn't entirely sure ^^
I know how that often happens especially if the drawing is then resized or smaller and from further away you can't recognize it that clearly anymore.
The leaves are a wonderful idea...maybe we should try make that outfit in fall! *grins*
