Flora Reinhold and Professor Hershel Layton from the Professor Layton (awesome) puzzle games series by Level 5.Blargh! This started out really well, it was kind of fun to remake Flora and Layton in a different style. However, let's guess who ran out of ideas for a remotely acceptable background?! Oh, wait! I know! ..me. Sucks :/ but I have about 6 layers of different backgrounds on the psd. I had originally planned for them to be outside on a sunny day, inspired by the colors of another much better Layton fanart on DA which was stuck in my head. Why would he be drinking a cup of tea outside? I don't know! In my defense, in Diabolical Box, you can make tea wherever the heck you want D: Also from Diabolical Box, when you finish the game, you have a gold icon next to your save. One of those is Flora wearing the Professor's hat >:3 So that's where that came from, too.
In the end, I settled for the only other idea I had for something not too complicated, and rather shiny. Maybe I'll redo it later, or just draw more Layton pictures!
Maybe they will reveal my secret thoughts about FloraxLayton.. mwuahaha.. >.>

I felt bad, and still do a bit, that this doesn't have a proper background, but I do love Flora and Layton and illustrating them in my own style was ever so much fun.
