Description
For the #pokedorks contest 30, new evolutions for existing Pokemon. Cuttyke here is my fictional pre-evo of Scyther, based on a mantis nymph. It's stats are something to the key of:Cuttyke (From cut + tyke, obviously)
Ability: Swarm or Technician
Moves:
lv- Quick Attack
lv- Leer
lv 5 Focus Energy
lv 9 Pursuit
lv 13 False Swipe
lv 17 Fury Cutter
lv 20 Agility
Evolves into Scyther at level 21
* A timid Pokemon that live exclusively in the territories of their Scyther elders. Scavengers that'll eat most anything, Cuttyke can often be tracked by the thin but deep slashes in trees that they inflict while sharpening their claws.

Yeah, it's a lot of fun! Fair warning: Skarmory is a popular subject. I'd recommend Girafarig, as you already have a pretty clever name devised. Gazellezag just sounds cool.

I've been sketching Girafarig from different angles for a few days, trying to work out what parts might be expanded for an evolved form... but man, a character designer I am not! Perhaps I'll just stick to fanart of things other people made up.

It's always tricky. Try thinking about the animal Girafarig is based off and how to expand on it. For instance, maybe you should make the second head more developed? Perhaps make the neck and limbs longer, more powerful? A pre-evo could be good too, you know. Don't give up yet, Blu!
Yes I do. It's too addictive for my own good, but I've managed to break its grip on me long enough to get stuck on my old Yoshi's Island instead.
