I live in Wellington, New Zealand. I speak fluent English with a Kiwi accent, and Mandarin Chinese semi-fluently.
Outside of normal geeky interests like video games and anime, I enjoy detective novels and sea kayaking. I have a 1st-Dan grade in Kendo.
If I feel motivated enough for it, I draw fanart. If I'm in an incredibly good mood, you may see some original stuff too.
I love rainy days and Dairy Milk chocolate, I love cats and most fluffy animals. I love to eat fish, but dairy products make me ill.

Just wanted to comment on your Shards of Narsil piece ([link] )...then I came here to make sure you were still active so my congratz would matter...then I saw your post about the big earthquake from last year which reminded me that the latest horrible one was, I believe, actually an aftershock from that one...and THEN I just wanted to say that I hope you're safe and sound! See how amazing the internet is? That's quite a progression!
Anyhoo... Nice Shards! Also, have you been to any of the locations where they filmed the LotR movies? I saw a picture not to long ago of Bag End (and here it is! [link] ) that looks like they left it almost intact. When people make a movie and build a set out in the wilderness somewhere they often have to tear it down and make the land like it once was. However, the interesting thing here is that Hobbit architecture is so eco-friendly that it actually improves on how the land looks! Gotta love those Hobbits!

^^ I managed to get 488 species through legitimate methods, and those extra five I don't care much for anyway. I've always prefered non-legendaries for some reason.
Gen V will be out soon anyway, there'll be a whole new adventure waiting for me, so I don't really need anything else out of the current Gen.
