TADAA! it's crap. i donno, i do love how this page turned out, despite how bad it looks. I still havent worked out all the kinks with my comic style, but hey, no better way to do that then to do it! Actually, mad ramblings aside, here's a question for you guys- would y'all rather i post pages 2 at a time from now on? it might be less annoying keeping up with the story, although they'd be submitted fairly infrequently ^ ^;. i still need to get better at dividing my time for this, poor thing is still getting shoved under the rug for all kinds of projects.. aiya.But! enjoy. Cross Canticle is my story, the characters, pages, elements, all are original. and thank you all for your support! *hug!*

It's hard to pick just one page out of your story to fave. But I just love how this looks. Your sequential style doesn't seem to have any kinks from my point of view, but I'm sure you'll still manage to get better somehow. XD

My sister's BF got one of those, the Sword of Mana I think it was called. he let me play a little of it. The fight system's kinda wonky, but everything else works about the same. Too bad the graphics aren't nearly so good.

yes i do! i love legend of mana best of all so far, but then again, i havent played any more of them ; ;. nooooooes! and im so jealous, theres one coming out for the DS. in a year or so, i suppose, i shall get one. i have no time for games, or else i would've beaten Riviera by now XD.

It's not crap. I really like your angles and approach to the character's in action. The thing I can see is maybe if you lighten you darks up a little it won't seem so muddy. The dark colors make it seem very busy I feel. I'm sorry just a suggestion.

yah, i thought i mightve gone too dark.. but what it is is the bright colors jumping out and making them look even darker. maybe a little lighter wouldve been better. but then again, it wouldn'tve had the same feeling to it.. so i guess it's a give and take situation XD. but thank you very much for your suggestion! *HUG!*

your style is actually better than published things i have seen. perhaps you should find a publishing company or editor or something once you've gotten your first chapter done. or even now. because im sure they would love to put you out there.

This is your first page!?!? Well that is an excellent way to begin a comic. To be honest with you this looks likes feature film anime, more than a comic. And if you're goal is to become noticed or to gain credibility in order to gain access to more work and projects, I think that this is a perfect way to do it. You could print out a comic of this quality and sell it on E-bay and sign them and stuff and someone would notice definately I think. But I'm not sure what the reasons are specificually in your making this one so I'll just be quiet now for sounding dumb.
But exceptional definately I'm awestruck.

hehe ^ ^. well, really im doing this because i've always wanted to, but didn't have enough confidence to keep it going. i feel really good about this go-round though! i think my goal with CC is to make a manga that's fully colored like an american comic, but using the asian color senses. like house of flying daggers and hero style, you know? i really appreciate the way they use color to tell the story. and besides, i can't do black and white to save my life ; ;. i just wish i wasn't so darn slow X3
