My portion of work for for the event.I hope I didn't disappoint you ; v;
This was a last minute work, so it didn't turn out as I hoped, but I made it on time~ I have been quite busy with school lately.
I hope that everyone will have a wonderful Christmas and New Year! ♥
Just for future reference... I can't use the color pink very well. OTL
The character is supposed to be Althea, Melmee's OC. although I think it's a bit off

I really like what you did here. The water affect at the top looks amazing with the blurry light refraction one gets looking at the edge of a fish bowl or tank. Their was a little discrepancy in focus about midpoint on her dress and the autonomy of her left hand could be worked on a little but the rest is really fantastic from how you blended her pink hair into a deep purple as it grew further from focus. The fish in the center focus and her eye lashes are very well done.

I will try to improve on the hand anatomy and work on the general shading for clothes. Originally in the sketch, a thumb was supposed to be sticking out in between her hair, but it was overlooked throughout the work progress.

When I first saw the design, I thought that her dress is supposed to be this way. (Or at least, that's how I visualized it.)

The koi fish is just an addition to compliment her dress design.
I can't draw underwater scenes either. This one was done quite sloppily, as you can see with the scribbles at the top. haha-
and oh please, I really can't work with pink too well. It has been my weakness in coloring.

ahhh this is just amazing! The colours look just perfect together and I absolutely love the koi fish (I have a pond in my backyard with 30+ of them after all) and the splatter of the dress is cute too >ω< I'm sure the receiver will be delighted when they see this <3, it's just stunning!

My dad collected them a few years ago and for a short time we even cultured a few hundred koi eggs in hope of transferring them to the big pond -- few of them survived though because the rate is low ;; v ;;
It's really cute though! They're so tiny but they grow fast, and because they can't have the normal fish food that we give our big koi we boil an egg and powder the yolk to feed them >w<, and they nip at it haha.
