SOLDI decided to set my next bunch of auctions on the theme of Africa, since there are so many species to choose from for stretch of creativity!
The African Wild Dog, fabulous markings and an animal I've always wanted to paint.

Looks like she's ready to play "Fetch"....that or chase someone up a tree.
She looks pretty flexible, I bet she could put her legs behind her head like a yogi (if that's the right word for someone that's an expert at yoga)

Not sure what they would be called, Yogi doesn't sound particularly right - just makes me think of a tubby bear XD

Found some answers on yahoo answers, not that I put much faith in their accuracy...
Males are Yogi, and females would be Yogini...sounds even weirder.

How long does it usually take you to do one of these? you seem to be churning them out pretty quickly

Depends what I'm painting really XD
But it takes a couple days in total, preparation of pencilling - clean up pencil - base coats - detail. FINISH ^___^
