I was inspired to draw stars and nebulas, by the topics of cosmology and astrology that I've been learning at school ^o^ This turned out a lot different than how I'd imagined it would, and I've been experimenting with art styles! Since that's the case, please don't be surprised if my drawings have drastically different art styles///I'm starting to try and incorporate clothes folds, and different angles and perspectives more often. I also tried using a variety of different brushes, especially to create the nebulae effects! I'll try and refine my sense of light and shadow placement and intensity too.Ā
Thank you to all of the people that have supported me, once again!+*+ I'll try and alternate between fanart and original pieces to maintain a balance of both!

I'm glad that you like the vibrancy of this piece! I usually stick to pastel colours but I've been experimenting with bolder ones lately, so your comment was an encouragement!! I also tried to make the colour coordination look good and avoided adding too many colours ^q^

Np Shiyu!! It's always good to work on new colours, palettes, and lighting! I think I might've gotten stuck in a pink-and-purple rut last year, but I'll try my best to come up with more green/blue palettes!
Thank you, it means a lot to know that there's a lot of love in my drawings + use of atmosphere! ;o; One of my long term goals is to make pieces are emotional... so you noticing is like one step closer to my goal!

For me, I didn't write any of mine down officially, but I keep them in mind! I'll just share some here:
- more use of green/blue -- different palettes in general, stop using pink/purple for ALL my lighting pictures. I'd like to esp use green! since I've never really drawn forests before
- learn more about anatomy/structure/form, since I'll be applying for animation soon
- pieces that invoke a deep, visceral response in viewers -- I want the viewer to feel something when they look at my art
- use of perspective -- my knowledge of anatomy and objects in perspective is weak
- dynamism and energy -- more pieces where there is actually something going on

I'm happy for you that you're getting closer to your goals!! I don't have many art resolutions for practical skills, as I've been trying to improve my knowledge on theory :3cĀ
But I'm trying to do more observational drawings! I'm taking art as a course in school rn~ I'm also trying to rely more on painting to reveal details, instead of lines(since I'm used to line drawings ><;
Oh you have good art goals, thank you for sharing them with me ^q^ I want to try drawing/creating different perspectives and angles too! I also have to make my pieces more dynamic, but I'm focusing more on creating an obvious visual atmosphere now(colour and quantity of lighting and shading), instead of dynamic and emotional effects!
