So a while back I mentioned some huge changes to my TOQ story. Main character's leaving... big plot changes... title change too...Well. I am here to tell you all that it's actually going somewhere for a change!
I HAVE STARTED A WEBCOMIC. 0_0 and yes. it is past page one. All the way to page four even!

This doesn't really explain what's going on here yet. Considering the only straight character I had left is laying rather cozily on Mika there.
I won't tell you what happened, I would prefer you read about it. And be convinced in that manner that this is in fact, an EXCELLENT change.
Because all you old CD/TOQ readers, I must convince you just HOW MUCH chemistry these two have. And the best way to do it, is for you to see it. And while this section of the story is not yet posted, it's coming up soon. So TRUST ME<3
My interest in this story is completely revived, and this has become something quick, intuitive, and therapeutic for me to work on. It is my official sketchbook project. And I'm hoping to work on it in any and all the free time I have from Marian. I'm not going to promise certain update times until I'm settled in exactly how long it takes me.
So anyway, please take a look at the comic! I'll be posting those pages here soon, but for now, you can only see them on the blog
TMB btw, is still on, just on hold for now. Those pages take QUITE a while for me to do, and I want to do them right, and attempt to publish. These are much looser and swifter for me to work on. And also just a shit ton of FUN. And I'm using this as a method to get myself on a schedule XD

I miss Jamie and Marie, but not as much as I'm growing to love Jamie and Mika. I love the pose and the lighting, it creates an amazing mood. 
(Of course, now I'm twice as eager to read the PBN comic.)

Comic looks amazing so far! I am positively ENAMOURED of Mika's mouth. Particularly in the lower left-hand panel of page 4. Just beautiful.

However, you could perhaps make the navigation and the interface more intuitive and user-friendly - it was a bit confusing and uncomfortable to me.

Yes I was fiddling with that yesterday. I'm not familiar enough with making themes for tumblr to customize the one I have so I can't make the pages open in a new window or anything just by clicking the images. I made links under each page in order to do so though. And also this theme has right and left click through navigation which is what I liked about it.
Was there something specific that bothered you? I could see what I can do with it, maybe just change the theme all together.

This picture is so sweet and delicate and the colored pencil detail is gorgeous.
I really appreciate the tenderness of the two figures and I appreciate that juxtaposition with the harsh and jagged shadow of the branch.
Your detail is sublime and it makes me want to stroke the paper.
