well this is the first time I have done it wihtout help from my friends! i even used the scanner for the first time!!

Yeah, scanners are VERY nice, you get much better images than when you're taking photos.

Have to photoshop my images to all hell to make them look decent after taking a pic.

Kudos on managing the technology, it does very odd things at times...
