A new design! This is a one-of-a-kind piece. An aquatic take on a Medusa design, with tentacles replacing the traditional snakes. This mask would make a great crowning piece to a mermaid masquerade costume -- or as a sea witch or bride of Cthulhu.

The mask is hand-shaped from a single piece of leather, and has been hand-painted with acrylic paint in a shimmery metallic finish. The leather I used for this piece is a little bit lighter and more flexible than my usual material, giving the tentacles some nice springiness and movement. Because of the random shaping of the tentacles, each variation of this mask is one-of-a-kind.
