Description
I really need practice with eyes, so I decided to do a speed paint while doing my homework.
The whole purpose of this was actually to put sparkle eyeshadow on the eye...funny how things turn out. ^^

First, I'd like to say good job! It's a very well drawn and realistic looking eye.
I really love how you've done the eyelashes; they're very good (:
The shading in the white of the eye is also superb.
The one thing I'd like to critique would be the iris; the shape seems a little off, and while the shading is good it seems a little scribbly compared with the smoothness of the white.
I do like the shinyness on the iris, it looks very nice, and you've done a good job with the eyeshadow too (:
One last thing is that the eye does not look particularly 'grounded', i.e in place in the face.
However as this is just a standalone picture of an eye, that's fine.

in terms of anatomy, there's no line where the eyelid ends usually? but i don't know if you were concentrating on that part of the eye anyway. but, yeah that was my crap critique haha.

The detail of the eyelashes and the color of the skin are beyond amazing. The only one thing that looks out of proportion is the pupil. Its detail look a bit hasty. (Not to mention that it must be round)
Anyway, very great work of realistic micro art!

yeah I was writing something for History while watching TV about an hour ago. The one thing you really should work on it making the iris round. Both the pupil and the iris are very round.

Anyway, it's quite a lovely eye. Eyes are seriously fun to draw, and I'm glad you're getting so comfortable with coloring/drawing on the computer. I like the purples you used... pretty...

You do a math problem...then 10 minutes of painting...then another...then 10 more minutes...it's just an endless cycle of procrastination, nothing special. ^^
