Harry wasn't exactly like that though, I mean serious. How would you feel if the Dark Lord came back, you're stuck with your torturous family, no one is contacting you, telling you anything. Yeah, he yelled a lot. Harry was never quite the same after he watched Cedric get murdered in front of him and had his blood sacrificed in a resurrection of the Lord of Darkness. The fact that every other person he came to trust was killed off hindered his recovery, to say the least. He also got dumped by his first major crush, who was obsessed with the guy he saw murdered.
So yeah. The occasional breakdown is permissible.
