just stumbled across this at random - but wow. really cool stuff. do you often work in a single layer? i just started working like that and find that it's really ramped up the quality of my work - also my speed. less to think about i guess? but yes this is great - it's got a beauty and simplicity which is nice.

Well...I guess I tend to work in less layers when I paint for myself, or single layer like this one, that way it doesn't matter how I paint along as there's no art director telling me to move this or change that

I used Photoshop 6.0 for this one. I got painter x but haven't started using it....yeah I'm kinda lazy that way

Of all of your pictures, I wouldn't say this was the one most deserving of a DD, I like some of your other pictures alot more, but good on yer for getting one, anyway. You've deserved it for a while, now.

Beautiful! Is the jpeg comression what's makin the "noise" in the painting in some spots - like on the two fish on the left? Still pretty though~
