Just like with her boyfriend, Vivian has more than earned the right to have a home at Yoshi’s Island with like-minded people. Even though she didn’t have the best upbringing, it shan’t stop her from waking up to a joyous day with fwends new and familiar. Especially not so now that she gets to spend all the time she could wish for with Doopliss.
One thing that she certainly has liked is seeing how well her Duplighost boyfriend has done well on his own. They’ve both admitted plenty of times that they don’t feel complete without each other, Doopliss feeling double about this.
But think of it this way: Because he kept going despite feeling this way, he’s really made himself up to be a true hero. And Vivian couldn’t be prouder.
Today, she got to meet up with the first fellow that Doopliss saved in his journey to become a changed soul: Elfilin. And Elfilin? He’s had nothing but amazing things to say about the prankster hero, as have the rest of us.
“Yes, I was just as confused as everyone else, but that’s because I didn’t know that he had all these crazy awesome powers!” he would say. “Doopliss really, REALLY didn’t give himself enough credit back there!”
“Oh, my gosh, RIGHT?!” Vivian would giggle, causing her boyfriend to blush profusely.
“He’s been such a joy to have around too,” little Sparky would purr, nuzzling up next to the Duplighost, making him tear up a bit in joy.
“Even his pranks feel super silly and childlike,” Olivia would chuckle. “That can’t be made up.”
“And he somehow finds ways to incorporate his pranks into heroics. THAT’S commitment,” Aero would smile giddily.
“You know, I have to agree with that,” Cinder also grinned. “Doopliss has seen both sides of the world, and yet… He’s just got that charm to him… I can see why you chose him…” she winked to Vivian.
“H-How did you know…?” Doopliss asked with a soft chuckle himself.
“A girlfriend ALWAYS can tell,” Cinder gave him a trunk kiss to the cheek.
“We’ve got your back, buddy,” Sparky purred ever louder. “Don’t ever feel like you have to go it alone. You’re a heroic brother… OUR heroic brother…”
“It takes a lot of courage to do what you did,” Blueshi smiled. “A lot of the world could learn from a guy like you… You’re a good kid, Doopliss… You’re a good kid…”
“Hear, hear,” Aero cheered with a confident nod.
“Cheers to our fearless hero Doopliss!” Elfilin cried out with joy.
