Greetings. ‘Tis I once again, Professor Toad. With the permission of my fwends, I have been able to compile some research notes on their unique characteristics and abilities. Let’s jump on in, as you would say!
To begin with, we have Olly, the King of Origami. He was folded to life by the skill and magic of Theofold the Origami Craftsman. Thus, it is highly possible if not absolutely certain that he is imbued with the ancient magic of the kingdom itself, meaning that he would in fact be infused with at least a fraction of power from the Ancient Ones. He is hence able to bring the art of origami to literal life, committing many powers to memory such as the strengthening 1,000-Fold Arms power, the power to fold himself and others into various states, and even the godlike powers of the Vellumentals themselves. When in a crisis, his true powers may activate and cause him to alter reality itself, perhaps even causing the air itself to become a lethal poison that not even Snifits are immune to…
Next, we have Sparky, Class S Snuggle Muffin Wolfaloon/Wereloon and sentient plushie, using various forms of magic, some of them not unlike those seen by his fwends. He evolved into a Wolfaloon when a research experiment gone awry had led to a potion endowing him with helium magic as well as lycanthropy simultaneously, and that magic was further combined with an unlikely aid of dark magic that he mastered into channelling his new… even fluffier form. Now, he can not only perform all lycanthropic acts such as spreading the “curse/power” via bite or mere physical contact (though, he prefers to do so in snuggles, true to his moniker), but his buoyant belly means that none can harm his impervious defences, and as a deceptive tactic, he may even cloak himself in the form of a still stuffed animal, all of this to rope his fwends into snuggles and foes into their doom.
After that, we can see Doopliss here. He is a Duplighost, a kind of ghost found in the far reaches of the kingdom among other places that has the power to transform themselves into those they see, impersonating appearance, abilities, and mannerisms. However, this fellow appears to be a special case among his kind, as he has demonstrated powers that even the common Duplighost does not have, such as the ability to transform others (not unlike the Origami King to an extent) and even steal their physical forms, leaving them as shadows that wander the land. He uses such powers to deceive foes into letting their guards down so that he can easily turn the tide of battle, or if brute force is the more feasible option, he may transform them into frail creatures in order to gain the upper hand. He is even able to manipulate his magic through seemingly innocuous devices…
And here, we have a White Pikmin. Previously thought to have lost their home, the Ivory Onion, it was recently found by a team of researchers that were helped by Sparky the Wolfaloon, believe it or not. They are tiny, even compared to the rest of their plantlike family, but it lends to their swift speed well. They are also highly poisonous, not to mention venomous, those having lived long enough in their toxic bodies being able to master the venom to be able to inject it into their foes without the riskful need of being ingested beforehand. Their gazing red eyes also allow them natural X-ray vision, thus being able to sense buried objects. For this reason, their digging instincts are among the highest in their family.
Finally, but most certainly not least, we have Kaleb the Spooky Wolfaloonshi. Being a combination of an undead zombified Yoshi, a werewolf, and a balloon, similar to Sparky, he is quite a wily creature. Not only does he possess all similar if not congruent traits of his four other fwends, he is also able to manipulate poison into various energy-based attacks, absorb medicinal effects from toxins and convert them into positive energy (something both Sparky and he are able to do with nightmares and phantasms in the Dream World), poison foes to the mere touch like a Stonefish, bend the very earth around him to his whims, and manipulate space time continuums to create rifts among other spectral effects to not only give his fwends amusement but his enemies a horrific experience to remember.
All of this said, however, these fwends- no… these brothers in arms use their powers to live up to the moniker of Snuggle Muffin, assisting each other with various tasks such as collecting food, defending their collective home, or- like said earlier- communicating to one another for amusement and joy. They truly do wuv each other, and they wuv life all the same. H-Hey… Fellas? You seem to be giving me that look… Oh, dear… It’s snuggle time, isn’t it?
