Hey, this is kleinmeli from "traditional-media", sorry it took so long to critic your work. I like your drawing. The idea is good and it makes me realize that I haven't looked at Manga/anime stuff in ages. But now for the actual critic. You have good lines in your drawing.I think if you choose a different media it would do you good. You don't put much contrast into your work, so doing it with a pen/ink would work wonders here. The lines would be more powerful and wouldn't lose on such a background.(Sometimes it's all about presentation.)I know you can't erase pen lines one you are done, but thats a risk you should definitely do! Other than that a few proportions look off, like is shoulder and hands, but that is a thing you will learn with every drawing you do.To help with handy just draw your own over and over again. It gives you the right feeling for it.Hope it helped a little, if you have any questions, feel free to ask.

thank you for the tips, this was really helpful! one question though: if i were to try a different media, should i go with digital, meaning with a pen tablet? or were you referring to something not anime/manga-related?thanks again for your critic

With a different media I men an actual pen...not a pencil like you used one. I will be the last person telling you to use a tablet.

Wonderful, I've always wished I could draw like this The details on the dress and the cape really make the piece, if not the facial expressions.
