Description This is Lacronus, a large bastard sword crafted entirely of bone. It is the weapon of the leader of Clan Mörvia a woman by the name of Lilith. A petite girl, she none the less has the strength of the undead flowing through her and can handle the blade one handed with ease. This is just another part of Lilith's material, and some day, I hope to be able to get a complete full figure commission of her done with this sword. As a Ghül, a higher form of Ghoul, she can use the blade to paralyze upon touch, as it too is crafted from a Ghül's body.

The writing is supposed to be much smaller, but when I shrank it to the correct size, it made the art just look like it was spotty, so I enlarged the lettering. Don't bother to try to read it, is gibberish.

Lacronus is the current clan sword of Clan Mörvia, one of the families of the Ghül, a race of undead who are to the common ghoul what vampires are to zombies. They have existed for millennia in the shadows, for their numbers are few and they must hide for survival. It is the custom of the Ghül to have an Elder, one who acts as the head of the Clan and speaks for them in Clan Council. This individual is referred to as the Piétrii, a word in their language meaning ‘Patriarch’, regardless of the gender of the Elder. This Piétrii, by tradition, bears the clan sword both as a symbol of their position and to protect them. And in turn as each Piétrii finally ends their existence, they pass the sword on to another of the Clan, for their body in turn will be used to forge the next clan sword of the new successor. Clan Mörvia has just recently undergone such a change and the new Piétrii, a woman named Lilith, now leads the Clan and bears this weapon at her side.
If there is a more gruesome looking weapon in existence, it has not to date been seen by man. Lacronus, as all other Ghül Blades, is crafted entirely from the bones of a Ghül with no metal used in its construction. This macabre weapon is a Bastard Sword. Engraved on the blade in the delicate script of the Ghül is the lineage of Clan Mörvia up to the last Piétrii or Elder, whose bones were used to create the sword. The crosspieces are small curved fragments carved from the ribcage which form the multiple limbed cross bar. In addition, laying flat across the blade on both sides are the bones of three intact finger joints. The grip of the hilt are the smaller vertebrae fused together and set in a straight line to lead to the pommel, a knob of bone carved from the ball joint of the hip bone into the image of a fanged skull. Though the weapon appears massive, almost the size of a great sword, its construction makes it light, agile, and as hard as fine steel.

again, great design work! I've never seen a blade with so much writing on the blade, its a very unique and interesting effect, and I like it!

As I said in the description, the writing is actually much smaller, but was not able to be seen when I wrote it smaller than this as any thing but skribbles. Still I like this one and wish I knew someone who could draw Lilith.
