Betty Boop started out as a dog back in the early 1930's. I personally think that version of her was adorable. Unfortunately, I don't have the skills to make her as cute as the Fleischers did.You can find dog-betty's cartoons on YouTube if you look. Dizzy Dishes, Barnacle Bill (my favorite), and Mysterious Mose.

I think her head shape is less creepy when she's a dog because it kind of makes sense with the jowls and stuff. After her first three cartoons her doggy ears morphed into earrings and her button nose was changed to a human's, but her unusual noggin remained the same!

My mom has this Betty Boop mirror downstairs, lol... the human version, though. I didn't know she started as a doggy. o.o Nice work!

I heard of that, but I never seen the original cartoon where she was a dog. I'll hafta look for it sometime.
