Sketch dump of some characters I've encountered and quotes. The point was mainly to avoid using reference or guide lines because I felt like it.

Kartik, from the Gemma Doyle trilogy. His quote is Circe is here, because I couldn't find any of his awesome moments. I like his hair. I drew his outfit like I would draw the Les Mis barricade boys', but oh well.

Poison Ivy, from Holy Musical B@man. "We're rising up from the underground", because Jaime sound BA when she says this. Her costume is similar to Jaime's, but I don't think she looks like Jaime at all.

Hazel Grace Lancaster, from TFiOS, which I have reviewed. Her quote is "some infinities are bigger than others". Her shirt doesn't much resemble the Magritte piece, alas.

Mark Cohen, Rent. "I don't own emotion--I rent." I really like that part of the song. I like the way Mark turned out. He looks awkward and nerdy, both of his qualities.

Mimi Marquez, also Rent. "They say that I have the best ass," is her quote because that's my favorite part of "Light My Candle". It's a real laugher line, and it prompts Roger to look at her butt more.

Kiki Strike, from, well, Kiki Strike. "If you don't let me go, you'll be in trouble," is paraphrasing, because I didn't have a copy of the book around. I hate how she turned out.

Gemma Doyle, from Gemma Doyle. "We aren't supposed to feel, we're British," is kind of paraphrasing. It might actually be in the book as this, but I think it's worded or punctuated slightly differently. I like how her uniform turned out, but HER HAIR. I hate it.
