Really not big on Marinette in this episode because:

1. She says she's not in love with Cat Noir, yet is angry when she thinks he's interested in her her instead of Ladybug her. Either let him love who he wants or give him a shot. Because unlike Adrien who's essentially unobtainable what with him being a supermodel and you being a baker's daughter, Cat Noir is on your level with both of you as superheroes. Also, they're the same guy, which you would realize if you weren't living in superhero world where you can only identify people by the skin that can fit under a domino mask.

2. She goes way too overboard with her reaction to Cat Noir rejecting her, thus turning her Dad into Weredad into the first place.

Adrien/Cat Noir meanwhile does get a pass for thinking that Marinette was just a fan instead of Ladybug, because he does know that she and Alya hang out, and Alya is the Lois Lane/Iris West of the show.

Finally, I may possibly be admiring Hawkmoth leaning into the skid that is using a baby as a super villain. Still makes him lose seriousness as a villain (that he will more than make up for down the line), but he has made lemonade out of that lemon.
