Description Ok people. Time to stake your claimed. I've decided to claimed the big crater on the top left as mine. So stay clear of claiming that!.

Anyway, shot using Nikkor 70-300 VR lens at 300mm. Crop around 90%.

When did you shoot this? Tonight is the Wolf Moon, I plan on being out there freezing my you know what off to watch it rise. Best viewing time is at sunset and facing east. Brightest moon of the year.

Thanks!. About an hour ago. it's 3 am over here and the sky really cleared up!. The moon is just outside my room window. It's a bright night for sure.

dude impressive crop in perfect symmetry!! i've always wondered how nature's shapes can be so flawlessly round. eg dewdrop, moon. to think of it, we live in a world of simple shapes.

Hahah...thanks. I was using a rapid burst mode and the VR sure helps to get that tack sharp image. And yeah, nature has a lot of simple shapes and form but there are some which are complicated though.

oh yea no wonder the image is so crisp and sharp! there are complicated shapes, like the snowflake. but...even complicated shapes exist in perfect symmetry. nature is flawless beauty!
