Taken today at 1 am. A bit closer. Another bright and clear night sky.

Settings Used:-
Shutter speed: 1/250 to between 1/320
Aperture: f/8 - f/10
Exposure: Spot Metering
Focus: Single area AF
WB= Auto
Burst Mode
Focal length: 300 mm
Post processed= USM and Tonal Contrast

Now THAT'S the kind of moon shot i like!! i tried to take one myself but my camera failed me and it turned into one big yellow blob. but that is fantastic! you got all those wonderful details, the light doesn't block anything just fantastic!

Hhhmmm...you might wanna check your camera settings?. Unless you're using a point and shoot which doesn't allowed any kind of manual settings.
Anyway, here's the settings I used to photograph the moon:
Focal length at 300mm, ISO 100 (since it's a full moon and being very bright), f/9, shutter speed at either 1/250 or 1/320, Center weighted metering and Single point Auto Focus. White Balance was set to Auto.
Since I was using the 70-300mm VR lens, the VR helps alot in getting a sharp image as it was shot handheld at 300mm. Without VR at 300mm, it's a hit and miss to get a sharp image unless a tripod is use.
