Description Kyuuso is a Japanese Yokai monster folklore mentioned in books like "Ehon Hyakumonogatari", or "Okinagusa" in Edo era.

It is a rat that became yokai after living longer life than usual ones. There were ones eat cats, or takes care of baby cats, or even attacks human.

The one in a country of Dewa, lived in a warehouse and played with cats in main house. The cat reproduced 5 babies, but soon after died by eating poison. Kyuuso kept visiting main house to feed baby cats until they grow bigger. Once the cats got big enough, Kyuuso disappeared.

On the other hand, in a country of Yamato, there was one Kyuuso which had tricolor body and ate a lot of cats.

That's just F-up animals in Japan get treated like gods and spirits of great power and fear. Here i the U.S only the Native American tribe still do that. Am half Native American and I love all the story's, like the one's about Coyote being devils. it cool to see thing like this. I hope some tale aren't true.
