Here it is. The queen is finally in full color and she just looks gorgeous!As you know, the original concept design and linework were done by me, but I'd like to offer my thx to Spyrothefox who help with the wonderful color palette and Photoshopping.
To reiterate on the information of this character, she is the 1st official Monarch of Equestria, and mother to Princess' Celestia and Luna.

Yeah, this looks amazing as expected! I do feel it puts my image to shame. Really hope this is the design they pick if they every show Celestia and Luna's mother. That would be soo awesome!
Though I feel like being picky about one thing. The stars (sparkles) in her mane and shoes should defiantly have been randomized more. Different shapes and sizes, right now it can look more like scratches or something else. Also, don't quote me on this, sparkles should be parallel and follow the same axis because of the refracting of light in lenses or your eyes. So you shouldn't randomize the tilt of the brush.

Oh, when they see the story that I'm pushing to them, which involves the Queen, I think they'll like what I have to offer.
Regarding the sparkles, I'm in total agreement with you...unfortunately that really wasn't my call. It was Spryothefox who did the coloring on this, because I have not yet touched a current version of photoshop/illustrator. None the less, it's a minor detail that can easily be rectified.
I'm very glad you like it though.
Now I need to finish deciding on the color palette for the main protagonist, and get that colored (boy I wish I could afford to get Adobe CS4 or higher on my comp).
