It wouldn't surprise me. haha
Although I lived in Portugal and Germany, I've only met one person who lived in Croatia (that I can remember). He was American like me.

LOOOL Dude, croats came to the Balkan in the 7. century, that's like what, 1400 years from now[[to the past]].
So therefor they could have only been neighbors for like 1400 years. Learn history dude.

Okay, before you sprout your "knowledge" just listen first.
One, I'm a history major who has lived in Germany and Portugal. I'm aware of European history.
Second, Croatia has existed LONG before the Croats, just with a different name (Dalmatia). There is more history to it than just when it became a nation. The Croatia you are thinking of in the modern-day one whereas THIS Croatia is the land that it now occupies. The land just so happened to become "Croatia."
For example, American history does not start with the independence of the colonies from British rule. American history starts with pre-Colombian, early settlements, and the Native American people. Just because the America we know now is new does not mean that is the only history worth knowing. Same with Croatia. Even before it became a nation, it has been a part of Roman and Greek history for (yes) thousands of years.
So congratulations. You corrected me with insufficient study and an unnecessary attitude. Feel better?

A lot better bro, now I know I can make smart people waste
their time telling me something I already know.
LOOOL I knew that already, because you see, here in the
Balkans WE HAVE to know that. Was just trolling ya dude,
no hard feelings bro xD.
Gotta know how to annoy people if you're going against some
idiots; it's better to start with annoying smart and educated
people so then you can annoy those retards with no problem bro.
I advise you do that as well bro.

Alright...I'm good. Thanks for being cool about it.
It was a misunderstanding on both ends. As for me, I love European history. It's like a big story book. After living there (as an American) for eight years, I've taken pride in knowing these things, which is why I got defensive. So I'm sorry about that.
I feel you on the history being wasted on people. They just don't care anymore. I love America and being American, but when it comes to history and geography.....just.....*sigh*. Out of curiosity, I once went to my high school, brought a blank map of the world, and asked people to point to the three countries I've lived in: Portugal, Germany, and the Philippines.
After 30 tests, only 14 found Portugal, 13 found Germany, and 16 found the Philippines. It was bad.

No pb bro, I joke a lot so I don't go all :FFFFFF on everyone
for everything xD.
No need to be sorry bro, hey I live in Europe, hell I live in the country
next to those motherfuckers[[i call everyone motherfuckers, kinda of a bad
habit]], ya know.
I heard most of the American population is stupid but dude...this stupid?
Really? Are those people insane? I'm Serbian and I have to know all of the
states in Europe, Asia, Africa, America and Australia and they can't even
lean where Germany is..I mean really....U_U

Awesome!
LOL I know the feeling, we make fun of Bosnians while
they do the same and that's like 2 neighbors making fun
of one another xDDD.
Ah, I see.
I know bro, you should study Serbian history[[if you haven't
already]] and let me tell you, we've been true some crazy shit,
and we still live and troll[[some of us anyway]] xDDD.
Yeah, I know the feeling, I study random facts about history or
culture and then correct people on the streets, I just love to
troll em.
